• For more than 10 years, the Foundation has recognized and thanked our Founding Donors with the installation of the Ray Dane Tree of Excellence. The tree is named after former Superintendent Ray Dane and is located in the foyer of Acker Auditorium. We have had the pleasure of honoring outstanding students, teachers, family members, friends, and businesses on leaves and apples on the Tree of Excellence. 

      Every September, new donors are invited to an unveiling ceremony and treated to light refreshments. Guests are greeted by Foundation President Dr. Jeff Pool and JISD Superintendent Fran Marek. 

      Due to an overwhelming response in contributions, we will expand The Tree of Excellence into a grove of trees. With your help, we are seeking donations to fund the expansion. Donations over $500 will be displayed in a prominent location within the tree for public recognition. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
